Spring sprung!
The weekend before last Chris, Shelby and I drove to VA to run a 10k (ha, enough said). The weather was sensational. My mom requested fruit trees for her mother's day present and she ended the Saturday with two pears, two apples, and a red plum all ready to be planted.
Their garden was already in full bloom. It was like being in Eden!

beautiful! i wish we didn't live so far north. we have green grass, and some green on our trees now, but the flowers have taken so long to come up. we finally have tulips! one thing i miss about southern iowa, for sure.
